NJRPA provides opportunities for university and high school students to advance their education in the field of parks, recreation, conservation, and leisure services through both scholarship and a professional development support program.
The NJRPA Student Scholarship is a competitive scholarship open to both current students involved in related studies at a university or college, and to high school seniors that interested in entering a parks, recreation, conservation, leisure services or related curriculum. Applications are reviewed each winter and scholarship winners are announced at the NJRPA Annual Conference. Applicants for the Student Scholarship must have a letter of recommendation.
