POOL MANAGER - SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT
TOWN OF WESTFIELD
Seeking a highly motivated Pool Manager to oversee daily operations of the Westfield Memorial Pool & Aquatic Complex. Responsibilities include supervising and scheduling staff, lifeguard rotations, first aid, water chemistry and basic pool maintenance, facility cleanliness, programming (swim lessons and water aerobics), customer service, special events, and all other duties necessary or required.
Candidates must demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, have a minimum of one year of management experience in an aquatic setting, and hold current Lifeguard, CPR, AED, First Aid, CPO, and Pool Director (PD) certifications. Familiarity with state bathing codes is required. Availability for preseason orientation and training is mandatory
This is a seasonal position running May 11–September 7, 2026. Salary based on experience.

POOL MANAGER (SEASONAL)

Chatham Borough is seeking a dynamic Pool Manager for the 2026 Summer Season!
The duties of this seasonal position include: managing the daily operations of the pool grounds; overseeing, scheduling, and educating the staff of assistant managers, and lifeguards; coordinating staff timesheets and supply inventory; regulating water chemistry and filter operations; acting as a liaison between the pool and the Recreation Coordinator; assisting with special events; interacting with pool patrons and providing professional and friendly customer service; conducting preseason orientation for all pool staff, and other duties as assigned. Lifeguard Certified, Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license, Pool Director (PD) training, and familiarity with the state bathing code, and previous aquatics experience required.

MANAGER OF THE RECREATION DIVISION F/T

Under the direction of the Director of Community Services, responsible for the organization and supervision of a variety of recreational sports and activities; conducts planned activities with assigned groups, implements programs for all ages, and initiates projects and reports on their progress; does related work as required. This position includes varying hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as needed. A minimum of two (2) years experience planning, promoting, and developing recreation programs at a recreation facility or community center; or graduation from an accredited college or university with specialization in recreation or similar field required. RECREATION PROGRAM COORDINATOR - P/T
BOROUGH OF BOUND BROOK, SOMERSET COUNTY
This is a newly created position that will require innovative programming ideas with the ability to execute successful comprehensive programs for kids, adults and seniors. The Program Coordinator will be tasked to plan, coordinate, implement, promote and oversee activities of selected recreational programs and special events. Knowledge of the methods used to plan, organize and coordinate parks and recreation programs. Bachelor's degree in Recreation or related field from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Minimum (3) years of professional recreation or community service experience. Hourly rate $20-$28. Ability to work in high-pressure environments; have excellent problem-solving skills.
